The State Theater is proud to announce the Blues and Tattoos Festival on March 14th-15th! Right in the heart of downtown Gainesville, TX at the intersection of Rusk and Main streets will be a buzzing event that everyone can enjoy. Not only will there be renowned tattoo artists up in the timeless Apollo Loft putting ink to skin and legendary Blues musicians belting out the classics on an outdoor stage and the headliner taking the mantle inside the historic Theater, but the festival will be open to vendors of all types. From delectable culinary creations for foodies to quality crafts and merchandise from artisans, the Blues and Tattoos Festival is set to bring everything to downtown Gainesville! Don't miss your chance to join in the festivities by renting out a vendor booth for your business!

Here's a comprehensive list of terms and conditions for vendors providing food, games, merchandise, or services at a music festival.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Vendor Responsibilities

    • Vendors are responsible for setting up, operating, and breaking down their booths during designated times.

    • Vendors must provide their own booth equipment, including tables, chairs, and display materials.

  2. Festival Operating Hours

    • All booths must be fully operational during festival hours (March 14th: 11 AM - 8 PM, March 15th: 11 AM - 8 PM).

    • Setup: 8AM-10AM

    • Teardown: 8PM-10PM

    • Early breakdown or late setup is not permitted without prior approval.

  3. Permits and Compliance

    • Vendors selling food must have a valid health department permit and comply with all local food safety regulations.

    • All vendors must adhere to local, state, and federal laws applicable to their products or services.

  4. Insurance and Liability

    • Vendors must provide proof of general liability insurance with a minimum coverage.

    • The festival and its organizers are not responsible for accidents, injuries, theft, or damages occurring at vendor booths.

  5. Booth Setup and Appearance

    • Booths must be professional in appearance and fit within the assigned space (standard: 10x10’, food: 10x20’).

    • Booth signage and decorations must not obstruct neighboring vendors or walkways.

  6. Electrical and Generators

    • Vendors requiring power must use whisper generators only (Possible exceptions could be made for food vendors). No direct electrical hookups will be provided unless given prior approval.

    • All equipment must be pre-approved to ensure it meets safety standards.

  7. Waste and Cleanup

    • Vendors are required to maintain a clean and safe booth area during the festival.

    • All waste, including grease or food waste (for food vendors), must be properly disposed of in designated areas.

  8. Prohibited Items

    • Vendors may not sell unlawful weapons, fireworks, illicit substances, or any items deemed inappropriate by festival organizers and/or state and local regulations.

  9. Payment and Fees

    • Booth fees are non-refundable. Payment must be submitted by the deadline to confirm participation.

    • Returned payments due to insufficient funds will result in an additional processing fee.

    • If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances then the vendor payments will be refunded minus a $50 service fee.

    • All payments are a nonrefundable reservation fee.

    • In the event of unforeseen circumstances which lead to an event cancellation, paid reservation fees may be applied towards future events, at the Festival's discretion.


  10. Cancellation Policy

    • The festival reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime. 

    • The festival reserves the right to cancel vendor participation due to non-compliance with terms or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather or emergencies).

  11. Safety and Conduct

    • Vendors must ensure the safety of their booth setup to prevent accidents or hazards.

    • Inappropriate or disruptive behavior, including harassment of attendees or other vendors, will result in immediate removal from the festival.

  12. Marketing and Promotions

    • Vendors grant permission for festival organizers to use booth photos or business information for marketing and promotional purposes.

  13. Approval and Space Allocation

    • Booth applications are subject to a review process. The festival reserves the right to decline any vendor that does not align with the event’s theme or standards.

By submitting the application, vendors acknowledge and agree to abide by all terms and conditions outlined above. Failure to comply may result in the loss of booth privileges without refund.
